Texting with Hey Loqal

Hey Loqal is a service of Very Good Post LLC. Business owners who use Hey Loqal can text a job photo and a short note to the Hey Loqal number. We text back a ready-to-post description, and when the owner replies YES we post it to their Google Business Profile, Facebook Page and Instagram.

We only text business owners who have a Hey Loqal account and turned texting on themselves. We never send marketing texts, and we don’t text anyone’s customers.

How to sign up

1. Sign in to Hey Loqal and open Settings.
2. Enter your mobile number and tick the consent box. It’s never ticked for you.
3. Press Save. We text you once to confirm, and you reply YES to start.

What the texts look like

• Hey Loqal here. Reply YES to start posting by text.
• Nice work. Here’s your post: “Did the whole back of the house on Post Rd today. Twenty-two windows and a sunroom.” Reply YES to post it, or text me what to change.
• Done. It’s live on Google, Facebook and Instagram.

The details

• Message frequency varies. We only text you in reply to jobs you send, usually 2 to 4 texts per job.
• Hey Loqal doesn’t charge for texts. Msg & data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop all texts, or START to begin again.
• Reply HELP for help, or email jtsalisbury@gmail.com.
• Texting is optional. You can use Hey Loqal from the website without it.
• We don’t sell or share your mobile number or opt-in with anyone for marketing.
